When the chicken hits the road.

We all have heard the old saying..."Why did the chicken cross the road". Well that is a question that will perplex human kind for years and years to come. Maybe when Jesus comes back the last thing he will do before the world explodes into a hellish ball of fire, will be to stand on the mound and tell us all why the chicken crossed the road. That would almost be worth the world coming to an end in itself!!!! I think that maybe the best way to find out why the chicken went to the trouble of crossing the road would be to ask the chicken itself! Now one must remember that there are thousands of roads in this world and millions of chickens. I am sure that not each chicken crosses a road for the same reason. There is obviously something on the other side of the road that each chicken wants. But then maybe again some chickens may be so caught up in thought or so stupid that they don't  realize that they are even crossing a road! To make a point quickly!!! Before you condemn, talk badly about, put down or even talk good about someone or something......would it not be wise to look both ways before YOU cross the road? Think about it.

Why whine about wines?

With the outdoor season upon us the question arises.......Who produces the best wines? A lot of people will swear by California wine, they say that there is none better! I myself have and do enjoy California wine but,........here comes the BIG but! I have and do enjoy the many wines offered from the Western New York and Pennsylvania area. One of my wifes and I favorite things is to take the back roads along lake Erie in PA and NY. There are miles and miles of vineyards along the roads and many fine wineries, many with quaint little shops to brouse in. Next time you are that way do yourself a favor, and take the back roads and enjoy!!!!!
